Synopsis
When Aella’s village is razed by northern raiders, she expects to die — not to be dragged across the icebound sea by a warlord who claims her with blood still on his hands. Rorik the Black is brutal, feared, and bound by no laws but his own. She is not his thrall — she’s his prize. His obsession.

But Aella is no docile captive. She fights, she defies, she burns. And something in Rorik hungers for that fire more than he wants to extinguish it.

As winter seals them together inside a fortress of stone and desire, their war becomes something else entirely: a slow-burning battle of wills, want, and forbidden loyalty. When Aella rises to claim her own fate, she must decide: can she conquer the man who conquered her body — or has she already been claimed far deeper than skin?

Enemies to lovers. Touch-her-and-die. Bonded in blood, fire, and war.
